If a backflow warning is given and the runner attempts to fly, the runner receives this base. Backhand warnings are delayed dead bullets. If a batter takes a hit, we don`t want the offense to be punished. However, according to high school rules, actual setbacks are immediately a dead bullet.

If a team`s batting order drops to 8 players during a game (except for exclusion), they will be subject to the above penalty, but the opponent has the option to provide a rotating defensive player to finish the game.
